How long does a new pool-heater installation take?
New Pool-heater installation does not take long. Depending on the unit model and location of install a new pool heater can be installed within 4 hours.

Do The Pool Heater Guys check the gas meter when installing a new heater?
Yes. We check your gas meter upon the initial service call appointment and before the new pool-heater installation. The gas meter needs to be the correct size for the new heater to operate properly and for factory warranty. Most gas meters are the correct size, however, SoCalGas will upsize your meter at no cost to you, if the meter happens to be undersized for the B.T.U. requirements of the new pool-heater.

What is the number one cause of pool-heater damage?
The number one cause of pool-heater damage is improperly balanced pool water. Swimming pool water that is not chemically balanced correctly can damage a new heater within a relatively short amount of time. Low pH can cause corrosion to the pool-heater's heat exchanger and heater internals, and high pH will do damage in the form of scaling up water pathways inside of the pool-heaters heat exchanger.

Are swimming-pool-heaters and spa-heaters the same?
Yes. It might sound like a silly question, but people that have never had a pool and spa combination in their backyard, might not know that there is no difference between pool heaters and spa heaters. (side note) - A slight variance from standard model pool-heaters, would be heavy duty model heaters for pools that are heated continuously for therapy or fun, or a commercial pool-heater unit for people that like to use their spa frequently.
