DIFFERNT TYPES OF POOL FILTERS
Diotomaceous or D.E. Filters
D.E. filters remove particles down to
3 microns in size. They cost the most and require the high maintenance but they offer the best filter performance.
High water use to mainatin.
Cartridge Filters
Cartridge filters remove particles down to 10 microns in size. They generally cost less than D.E. filters and require mid-level maintenance. Medium water use to maintain.
Sand Filters
Sand filters remove particles down to 20 microns in size. They cost the least overall and require low maintenance. High water use to maintain.
